Double-crested Cormorant

This is the closest I’ve ever come to a cormorant. This one happened to be cruising very near the Aquatic Centre ferry dock, and stayed just long enough for me to snap a few pics. I love the sharp contrast between its teal eye and bright orange face, and little details I never picked up before, such as those little spots in front of its eyes
