Jackdaw

This is a Jackdaw, a corvid that’s built pretty much like a crow, and seems to act a lot like a crow. I’ve seen them before, on our 2017 trip to the Netherlands, but it’s nice to get reacquainted!

It looks more menacing than it really is because its lower mandible seems a bit too short, making its beak look hooked.
