1221 Thurlow

What used to be 1221 Thurlow was demolished this week. The place carries a lot of history: until the summer of ’96, it was the home of Little Sister’s, Vancouver’s LGBT bookstore, immortalised in documentaries and songs. I’ve only ever known LS at its current, much swankier site up the street on Davie Street, but still I come to pay my respects.
