Central Hall ceiling

It looks like the surrounding vignettes are a sampling of Renaissance and Golden Age artists—we’ve got da Vinci, Rembrandt, Van Dyck, Michelangelo, Rubens, and others I’m not familiar with.

The central piece is an original commission by Hungarian Painter Mihály Munkácsy (1844–1900), titled Glorification of the Renaissance, completed in 1888.
