Place de la Concorde
With the Eiffel Tower and the Luxor Obelisk in the background.
On the right is one of eight statues put up around the Place in the early-to-mid 1800s, each representing a major French city, with crests or holding symbolic objects (e.g.: Bordeaux’s is holding a lot of grapes). I believe this one is for Strasbourg.
Behind it and to the right, sporting a French flag, is the Grand Palais: a big Art Nouveau glass-topped hall built for the 1900 Universal Exposition.
