Reynisfjara

The world-famous black sand beach near the town of Vík on the south coast. It was sunny just before we got here but you know what? This is just fine. A black sand beach with roaring waves and monstery-looking rocks pretty much requires a moody overcast sky.

Speaking of monstery rocks, I think these are the ones the guide told us about. The story goes that they were trolls fighting on the beach over treasure or something, but the sunrise caught them and turned them to stone.
