The V.J. Rott Building
The elaborate facade of the VJ Rott building, on the Little Town Square just off the Old Town Square. It was owned by wealthy ironmonger & entrepreneur Vincent Josef Rott which he commissioned to have painted in 1896 to represent a bunch of people using some of the metal tools he provided. Plus, between the second and third floor windows, an appeal to St. Vaclav—the Czech nation’s patron saint—not to let the country go to crap, because rich people get to do that I guess.
